UK Tier 4 Student Visa

Overview

International students who are up to 16 years and are not from Switzerland or the European Economic Area (EEA) should apply for a UK Tier 4 Student Visa if they wish to further their studies in the UK. The visa is open for international students who wants to do their Masters in UK, bachelor in UK, Diploma in UK, and Post-Graduation in UK.The students are allowed to take up part-time jobs to support their studies while in the UK but are not entitled to public funds. With the UK Tier 4 Student Visa, the family members of the students are allowed to join them in the UK.

Eligibility:

For applicants to be deemed eligible to study in UK, they must:

  • Have been offered admission by an accredited educational institution in the UK.
  • Have sufficient funds to cater and cover for all expenses that may be incurred during their stay in the UK.
  • Have good English skills.

Along with the above criteria, applicants must provide the following documents:

  • A recent passport.
  • Proof that confirms that the student has sufficient funds to cover all expenses that may be incurred, preferably, bank statements.
  • Students below 18 years of age need to provide evidence that their guardian or parent has given due consent and approval of their study.
  • Evidence declaring applicant’s relationship with guardian or parent.

The application fee costs £335 if one is applying from outside the UK and £335 for any other dependent.
