The total processing time could be between 6 months to 18 months depending on the occupation and stream.

 WORK VISAS

Until December 2013, for the year 2013-2014, a total of 23 420 work visas were issued.

The validity of this visa is 1 day to 4 years.

The Australia Work Visa gives a prospective immigrant, the opportunity to live and work in Australia as a skilled migrant, thus enabling the Australian employer to employ a non-Australian to work in Australia, since the required talent is not available.
