The US K3 Visa is a non-immigrant visa that is exclusively designed for the spouse of a US worker, to enter, live and work in the US while waiting for a Form I-130 Petition for an Immigrant visa. Such a Petition for an Alien Relative must be filed by a US citizen for his or her spouse. Where the family is a polygamous one, only the first spouse of the US worker qualifies for this visa category. The visa allows the spouse to live with his or her partner in the US.
