US Immigration Extends EB-5 Regional Center Program till 21 Nov 2019
The US EB-5 Regional Center Program, which was set close on 30 September 2019, is now prolonged through 21 Nov 2019. On 28 September, a Continuing Resolution was announced by the Congress and signed by the President to not only prolong the funding of the federal government to stop a government shutdown, but it also involves language to prolong the US EB-5 Regional Center Program by 21 November.

The program continuation by 21 November coincides with the powerful date of the latest EB-5 Modernization Regulations, which raises the investment amount, reforms that has the power to make TEA designations and performs stricter TEA demands, among other things. The present minimum requirement for a US EB-5 investment is $500,000, which will rise to $900,000, effective from 21 November. Therefore, anyone thinking of moving ahead with a US EB-5 visa should be aware of the future investment increase. Proper preparation is essential if someone intends to move forward below the current rules. Not only does the investor require to recognize a project, complete due attention, submit suggesting records and fund the EB-5 project, but they also need to file their I-526 request prior to 21 November to assure adjudication below the modern program rules. In the current regulations, it says that anyone that funds into a US EB-5 project and files their petition before 21st November will be grandfathered below the modern program rules as they exist today.

US EB-5 Investor Visa Program
