Through the Entrepreneur Category of Saskatchewan province, prospective newcomers can show their interest in running a business in the province of Saskatchewan and residing in the province.
The initial step in the process of application is to fill out an online questionnaire with details about experience in the entrepreneurship, assets and a Plan of Business Establishment (BEP), along with other criteria.
Those who satisfy the minimum entry guidelines are then allowed into a pool for possible selection and given a score out of 160 points and it is completely based on the details that applicants have provided while submitting their application.
The S.I.N.P Entrepreneurs Category's Expression of Interest System Points Grid provides scores for objective standards of business achievement and strives to choose innovative entrepreneurs who will shift their skills to Saskatchewan and increase the province’s developing labor market.
Chosen candidates in the recent draw scored a median of 125 points, with the weakest ranked applicant scoring 120 points. This is the 4th following draw with this range of scores.
In order to be counted and to be eligible below the Entrepreneur Category of Saskatchewan, candidates must have a least net worth of CAD 500,000, minimum three years of experience in entrepreneurship within the preceding 10 years and are expected to make a least equity investment of CAD 300,000 in Saskatoon or Regina, or a minimum of CAD 200,000 in any different Saskatchewan community.
The S.I.N.P Entrepreneur program will attend the following Expression of Interest pool selections draw on 7 November 2019.
