Canadian most populated province had a primary allotment of 6,650 nominations for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee (OINP) Program, which it reached as of 9 December 2019.
The province of Ontario has also been allotted with a further 700 places, bringing the entire number for 2019 to 7,350. The program will remain to process applications and announce nominations until the extended allocation is achieved, an O.I.N.P statement announced.
Meanwhile, the Ontario province remains to process applications by its In-Demand Skills Stream for the separate allotment granted below the I.R.C.C’s NOC C initiative.
Applicants who are announced provincial nominations are able to apply to the federal government for Canada PR. Candidates with their profiles in the Federal Express Entry pool get a further 600 points for their profile, efficiently guarantees an ITA in the subsequent draw.

The O.I.N.P also runs a separate EOI (Expression of Interest) system for its Entrepreneur stream, by which N.O.Is are also announced.
There are 5 streams below which applicants can apply directly for Ontario provincial nomination. Canada stated that a temporary public policy will be executed to offer a pathway to Canada PR for qualified and construction workers with out-of-status in the Greater Toronto Area.
