Nova Scotia Entrepreneur Stream: Issues 20 ITAs to Entrepreneur Immigrants
Nova Scotia immigration has attended the latest draw beneath its Entrepreneur Stream, aiming entrepreneur immigration applicants.

The 12 November 2019 draw observed 20 invitations announced through the Nova Scotia's Provincial Nominee Program. The lowest-ranked applicant secured a minimum of 118 points score, which are five greater than the 113 points score which is required in the former draw.

It was the 7th Entrepreneur Stream draw of Nova Scotia in 2019. The prior draw happened on 6 September 2019 where it issued 46 invitations and the lowest-ranked applicant secured score was 113 points.

Meanwhile, the province of Nova Scotia also managed a draw through its Global Graduate Entrepreneur stream on 6 September 2019. The draw noticed one invitation announced with a score of 54 points, indicating a total of 3 invitations has been announced through the stream during 2019.

Entrepreneur Stream of Nova Scotia 

The Entrepreneur stream of Nova Scotia targets applicants with ownership of business or experience in senior management. They must reside in Nova Scotia; either commences a new business or buys a current business, and actively engages in the day-to-day management of that company.

Below the Entrepreneur stream, applicants have first announced a temporary work permit prior to applying for PR later operating the business for a year. The stream utilizes an EOI format, where applicants in a pool are invited to appeal.

Candidate Requirements for Nova Scotia's Entrepreneur Stream

  • Be aged 21 or above.
  • Want to reside permanently in Nova Scotia while owning & actively maintaining a business in Nova Scotia.
  • The minimum net worth of CAD 600,000.
  • Minimum investment of CAD 150,000 to build or acquire a business in the province of Nova Scotia.
  • Score a minimum of 5 on the CLB in listening, speaking, writing, and reading in English or French.
