All applicants must hold a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code. Also, the requirement includes a minimum of six months of recent experience in a job present on its In-demand Occupation list, or;
They must have a close relative living in Manitoba or some past provincial connection, like receiving education or obtaining work experience. Additionally, having six months recent provincial work experience as well as meeting the language criteria is the norm.
Skilled Workers stream sent 101 LAA’s to aspirants who had scored 475 points.
International Education Stream issued 26 LAAs to the deserving candidates.
Manitoba stated that candidates who hold a valid Express Entry ID in combination with the job seeker validation code got 133 LAA’s.

The Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream
Manitoba offers the SWM based on the specified needs of local employers. It Selects Workers obtaining the foreign training and possessing the relevant skills. Subsequently it nominates them for permanent residence in Canada. The main focus is on selecting candidates having a strong bond with Manitoba. Additionally, it conducts the selection in these two pathways:
Manitoba Work Experience Pathway
There is no requirement for the candidates to work in top Demand Occupations in this method. Here the Nominated candidates are those who presently work in the province on a temporary basis using Temporary Foreign Worker Program or in the capacity of global graduates of any province.
Employer Direct Recruitment Pathway
The path caters to overseas applicants who have a confirmed job offer from a local employer.
Manitoba Skilled Workers Overseas Stream
Candidates of this Stream – Skilled Workers Overseas - are selected through a dedicated Canada Express Entry Pathway or through the Direct Provincial Pathway.
The stream caters to invite global skilled workers who possess skill and training in the top Demand Occupations. Skilled Workers Overseas focuses mainly on such candidates and spouses who have a close family connection with the province. The candidates must be proficient in language skills and rich in experience for finding the jobs.
Manitoba Express Entry Pathway
The path caters to global candidates who qualify under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program stream. Additionally, candidates should be eligible for Express Entry criteria and also have the active profile. All candidates must also have training, skills, and rich experience in the top Demand occupations. Having a provincial family connection is also a condition here.
Human Capital Pathway
HCP aims to select global skilled candidates having the training, skills, and rich experience in the top Demand occupations. Additionally, there is a priority to candidates who can find jobs quickly.
International Education Stream
Global graduates of the Manitoba College/universities are in a position to use the International Education Stream for obtaining the Canadian PR. The IES candidates need not have six months prior work experience to be eligible for the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program nomination. There are three streams:
Career Employment Pathway
This Pathway requires completing one year course from the eligible post-secondary local institution in the past three years after submitting the application. Candidates must be residents of Manitoba and have the full-time job offer in a top Demand Occupation in the relevant field.
Graduate Internship Pathway
There is no requirement for the candidates to have a valid job offer. Candidates having the Master’s/Doctoral degree using the Elevate internship or Mitacs Accelerate can submit the nomination application.
Candidates should be Manitoba residents since their graduation and complete the two-year course from eligible post-secondary local institutions.
