Manitoba EOI: Recent Draw Issues 230 ITAs to Candidates for Canada PR
It is the 77th Manitoba Expression of Interest (EOI) draw that took place on 21 November 2019, Manitoba Provincial Nominee (M.P.N.P) Program invited 230 applicants to apply for a nomination from the province.

The invited applicants belonged to the three immigration streams. The distribution of the 230 Invitations to apply issued in the 21 November draw is as below:

  • Skilled Workers Overseas: 16
  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 185
  • International Education Stream: 29
With the recent draw, the entire number of invitations announced by Manitoba to skilled professionals and International Education Stream applicants in this year has reached to 7141.

Manitoba Expression of Interest (EOI) System

To be counted for a nomination from the province through either the Skilled Workers in Manitoba or the Skilled Workers Overseas categories, the applicants must first provide an EOI to the Manitoba PNP. Each applicant who creates an EOI profile with the Manitoba PNP is granted a score out of 1000 points based on several eligibility factors.

In the recent draw, the minimum required score for the invited applicants belonging to the category of Skilled Workers in Manitoba was 504. At the corresponding time, the minimum required score for the applicants belonging to the category of Skilled Workers Overseas stream was 739. In the Skilled Workers Overseas applicants invited in the most recent draw, 16 got their invitations directly below a Strategic Recruitment Initiative of the Manitoba PNP.

Manitoba's Express Entry

The Express Entry applicants' number who received invitations in the most recent Manitoba EOI draw was 20. To receive an invitation through one of the Manitoba EOI draws, the applicants must have skilled work experience in one of the in-demand professions of Manitoba and satisfy other eligibility requirements. They also need to submit a separate EOI to the Manitoba PNP.

Skilled Worker Overseas category

This category of the Manitoba Provincial Program allows Manitoba province to select and choose foreign experienced workers who are capable of supporting the labor market in the province. To be qualified for provincial nomination beneath this category, the applicant must have a former connection to the Manitoba province or received an invitation by one of the Initiatives of Strategic Recruitment.

International Education Stream

Applicants who graduated from one of the higher education colleges in Manitoba and have specific in-demand abilities may be invited for nomination beneath the stream of international education. The stream has 3 subcategories: Student Entrepreneur Pathway, Graduate Internship Pathway, and Career Employment Pathway.
