Global students are being invited to fulfill places in the classroom and skilled workers are being asked to populate the staff of Ontario province’s first francophone university.

Opening in Toronto in Sept 2021, the University of French Ontario will offer programs in the globalized economy, human plurality, digital cultures, and urban environments. Programs in communications, management, law, social work, and psychology are also assumed to launch next fall with the support of partnering institutions.

Jason Luckerhoff, VP of Program & Knowledge Development said that we are working with the government of the province to assure programs are supporting Ontario & Toronto to have the workforce required in many fields where we do not have sufficient people trained and qualified.

The administration is presently working on building partnerships with institutions in Asia, Africa, and Europe with the goal of bringing global students.

Once finalized, the associations would make it feasible for students to gain credits that would be identified at both the University of French Ontario and the affiliated institution.
