In the past few weeks, Express Entry Candidates had received invitations for applying to the provincial nomination after using the immigration streams aligned with Express Entry in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Manitoba.
Admission targets for 2019:
Canada has an admissions target in three Federal programs managed by Express Entry. It will also increase the target in 2020/2021. Furthermore, the overall figures by 2021 to welcome permanent residents are 350,000.
Candidates in Express Entry can improve the CRS score in different ways. Among them, the nomination of the Provincial Nominee Program offers a good chance. On success, they also receive 600 additional points in the CRS score, which is a guarantee to get the invitation to apply for Permanent Residency.
The total invitations issued to skilled workers in 2019 reached 4,320 at the end of May 2019. Manitoba also issued invitations to 196 candidates on May 23.
Of these 119 were for candidates in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba, 60 for Skilled Workers Overseas. Additionally, 17 were for the International Education Stream serving global graduates from Manitoba institutions.
