Alberta PNP: Latest Express Entry-Linked Immigration Draw Issues 374 ITAs

Alberta immigration has attended the latest provincial Express Entry draw, announcing Notifications of Interest to 374 applicants through the Alberta's Immigrant Nominee Program.

The draw held on 25 September 2019 observed NOIs issued to applicants in the Federal Express Entry pool with CRS scores as less as 400.

Essential qualifications for the Alberta's Express Entry stream are that applicants have stated an interest in migrating permanently to the Alberta province, and are working in a profession that supports Alberta’s economic growth and diversification.

As of 9 October 2019, Alberta has announced 4,633 of its 6,000 Canadian government nomination allotment. The province Alberta also has 1,800 applications awaiting evaluation.

Regular draws are managed below the Alberta's Express Entry stream, selecting applicants from the Canadian Express Entry pool and issuing invitations to apply for the Alberta P.N.P.

Alberta Express Entry Requirements

In order to be suitable to get a notification of interest, applicants must:

  • Have an effective Express Entry profile in the pool of federal Express Entry.
  • Have declared an interest in migrating permanently to the province of Alberta.
  • Be working in a profession that improves Alberta’s economic diversification and development.
  • Have a minimum 300 points CRS score.

Factors that may enhance a candidate’s possibilities of obtaining NOI:

  • An employment offer from an employer in Alberta and/or Albertan work experience.
  • Holding graduation from a post-secondary institute in Canada.
  • Having a family or relatives that are residing in Alberta.

Factors that may decrease a candidate’s possibilities of obtaining NOI:

  • The profile in the Express Entry expires within the subsequent 3 months.
  • Your work experience in an ineligible profession.
